TEFL International school in
Seville, Spain
Located in the South of Spain, in Andalusia. Seville is one
of the most historic cities in the world. Seville lives and
breathes history. It is known for its friendly people, amazing
architecture and divine selection of Spanish cuisine and excellent
nightlife.
Seville was already a major trading center when occupied
by the Romans.
It's history lives, in the narrow medieval streets of the
old Barrio Santa Cruz; in the magnificent 14 th century
Alcazars Moorish architecture; in the Gothic style Cathedral
the third largest church in Christendom; in the extensive
gardens of the Palace of San Telmo .
But Seville's coexistence with the past doesn't stop with
architecture. Here you can still see a medieval pageant
unchanged since the 16 th century.
At the festival in April the ladies of Seville turn out
in their finest and most colorful Flamenco dresses. In the
morning landowners arrive on horseback or in coaches. Houses
are decorated with colourful lamps and at night, the Flamenco
party starts!
Andalusia
is definitely known for its divine horses. The city of Jerez
(about 1,5 hours south of Seville) features the worlds famous
horsemarkets and is the city from which the "Sherry"
got its name.
Andalusia
is certainly one of the most magnificent areas of Spain
and of Europe. It is still unspoiled by tourism, has the
most beautiful Mediterranean coastline, an unspoiled countryside,
the oldest cities and many activities. Its people know how
to enjoy life, and love to meet foreigners.
There
are plenty of teaching jobs available. However, it is advisable
to learn a little Spanish before applying for a job. This
again is easy in Andalusia, because not many of the locals
speak anything but Spanish! Don't forget to take a little
phrasebook along.
Activities
in and around Seville:
Learn Spanish and flamenco dancing. Visit
art museums, historic monuments or galleries. Experience
Spanish music and wine. Around Seville you can watch a bullfight,
learn to ride an andalusian horse, visit the famous historic
white villages. 2-3 hours to the South of Seville. Nearby,
the southern most point of Europe, an interesting little
town called Tarifa. From there you can take a ferry to Morocco.
Tarifa is the Mecca of "kite-surfing" and horse
riding on the beach. Here you can learn kite-surfing on
a weekend and go horse riding along kilometres of fine,
sandy beach! Check out "Tarifa" and "kite
surfing" on google!

It
is very hard to exaggerate about Barcelona! With a population

capital sparkles with intense energy and vibrant colours.

between the blue waters of the Mediterranean and the Tibidabo
hills, Barcelona is one of the most popular vacation retreats
of Europe. The Balearic Islands are to the east, Pyrenees

wine region to the west. Closeby is the Roman city of Tarragona,
the beautiful resort town of Sitges to the south and the
monastery at Montserrat, There is so much to explore!
And,
unforgettable, a word about Barcelona's nightlife. At times
it seems that there are more bars, clubs and cafés
here than anywhere else in the world. Dinner is served after
